To help children and young adults with intellectual disabilities acquire the skills they need to become useful members of society.
To involve the intellectually disabled person in different social, cultural and vocational activities with the aim of allowing their latent potential to bloom.
To enhance and accelerate interaction with other sections of society in order to bring the intellectually disabled into the main stream.
To provide counselling, guidance and training to parents of persons with Intellectual Disability such that theybecome more effective in handling their wards, and make them aware about their rights.
To raise institutional capacity by training teachers in special education, such that we can address the requirements of the larger population.
